Probably the best early-stage VC in Czech if not in CEE region.
Pros
Partners have a deep understanding of the e-commerce, retail-tech, food-tech, SaaS businesses. Very fast decision making and lots of conviction in founders they have invested. They have an in-depth knowledge database and help is always at hand if you need anything from a very knowledgeable associates.
Cons
Can't think of any atm.

Pros
Quick decisions, quick approval processes, significant help. They helped with further financing and fundraising. They helped during the process of selling the company. They helped with kick-of of sales - even by personally visiting our regular sales meetings. They helped with expansion to Asia with their contacts. I can only recommend this VC!

So far my experience has been only positive. They have a mixed reputation in the local Czech community (that’s one Con), but I haven’t experienced anything negative personally.

They changed my view of VC, which I had avoided with my projects until then. - in positive way :)

Fast investment decision, always trying to help, they let us work (no unnecessary bureaucracy)

I can't think of anything, maybe they could give us more money so that we don't have to look for other funds from other VC funds :)

Think twice about what people are behind the VC group, and if it will not cut you off your future dream investors.
Pros
They are very communicative and generous in motivating founders to become pratners.
Cons
If you talk quality angel investors who know people behind the fund, you want to think twice if you will sign Light House, as what we learned on our path, if we would go with them we could cut other future possible investments,....as morally some other interesting investors do not want to cooperate with them, even if founders would want!!!

Easy money but coming from a guy with bad rep
Pros
They were easy to approach, didn't ask too many unnecessary questions or demand meaningful work or documents from our side.
Their time to close (we almost closed with them) was very fast (2-3 months).
Cons
We were looking for a consortium (2-3 funds) to co-invest in the deal. Unfortunately some other funds refused to coinvest with LHV based on supposedly bad reputation of their GM. I am saying supposedly because in the stress of raising funds I had no time or mean to check the background of the GM and what he did or did not do in other businesses more than 10 years ago. Even though this had nothing to do with our business, company or plans, it limited our possibilities to put together a coalition of co-investors.
What was even worse, LHV pulled out of deal last minute which caused the one other co-investor also to pull out and the whole deal fell through giving us no runway left - which had dire consequences for our company.

Address your reputation issue somehow please because it doesn't affect only you but also the companies you invest in
