Unscrupulous
Like a number of other posts, I make my comment about this firm's unscrupulous behavior and unpleasantness based on a comparison with other venture funds.

Dishonest Fund or Dishonest Partner
The most unpleasant investment fund I have dealt with... and I have dealt with many. Or it may have just been Andrin Bachman. I've conversed with others in the industry and my experience with him is by no means unique. He's now a partner at Piton Capital but works with MC part-time. Mr Bachman progressed the transaction until he got near to its conclusion and then said to our CEO that he wanted someone from the outside to run the business, not because he thought the CEO had any fundamental issues but because Mr Bachman always liked to have his own team in place. Of course this may have been disingenuous, there may have been a better reason behind it all and he is entitled to do certain things if he invests, however crazy or stupid that might or might not be, but it was the dishonesty that everyone found abhorrent, even by VC standards. In fact, our CEO stayed because existing investors decided they wouldn't tolerate his participation, especially given the objections to the change that came in from the company's blue chip customers. To make such a radical change in a small company flagrantly disregarding its customer basis, management and staff was amateurish at best.

Do Not Trust These Guys
These are bad guys. Unscrupulous and arrogant . Do not show them your operating plan, it will not stay confidential. Telecom- only focused. Tend to work only with those they have worked with before. Invests in later stage growth deals, roll ups or M&A. They will take your info and share it with others.
