Solid Angel Investors
Our experience has been quite positive with QCA and I recommend tham as a source for angel funding. From the initial business proposal through negotiation of terms, their process was well organized and reasonable. QCA delegated a Board representative who was experienced and helpful in advising, strategic decision-making and ensuring open communications with their organization. Finally, upon our recent successful exit, we found that the "hands on" business experience of this organization yielded clear and meaningful appreciation of all the work that went into the business. Many members of QCA have been in the shoes of the entrepreneur and understand what it takes to succeed. I would certainly work with them again.

Brag about Talking Advantage of Entrepreneurs in Deal
I managed to catch a side conversation between a couple of their "managing" members at an event. They were brazenly open about taking advantage of an entrepreneur in a recent deal as part of a syndicate (or was it feeder) with CincyTech.

Efficient Funding
We approached QCA as a potential add-on to a syndicate of Angel groups. The pitch process was well described and straightforward. We got good, relevant questions from them, they appeared to read the materials we sent and actually listened closely during pitches and phone calls. Since they were not a lead for this deal, perhaps it was easier for us, but overall this was one of the most efficient processes we dealt with in our financing round.

They Have a Specific Agenda...
Their patriarch is out-of-sight and chairs their board. He makes the thumbs-up or down from a distance. Not only decided not to proceed, put the word out that we were unfundable. Even got feedback about this from an angel group in the west. Don't fund is fine. To black-list is completely another.
