Serious Team
We have seen a few VC in france for our first pitch. They seemed serious and very profesionnal on the replys and followup. But their knowledge of the discussed mobile market wasn't so great and we did some of the education. The real question is: "how to teach and convince in the same time ""

Great Fund, Good Professionals
I've met a lot of VC's who ironically don't like taking risks: Ventech is clearly not one of them. They've invested in our last company at the very early stage believing in the vision. They pushed to complete the team for stronger execution and supported us through tough times (post-9/11) when others gave up. They helped us throught the development phase as well using well the different profiles they have in the team (with Eric ealry on and Jean throughout development). To me they're a good and professional team.

Slow but Reliable
Our meeting was cancelled because of timing issues. The Pierre Francois Huet was always friendly and very polite while it took somehow a while to get answers from them.

Reliable VC on the Long Run
I have worked with them since 2000. They have financed 3 of the companies I founded (Musiwave, Eyeka and MXP4) and I could say only great things about them. They are reliable on the long term, they are visionary people, and they are quite stressprof, which is obviously key in this business.
